REASON, SEASON, OR LIFETIME Friends
When someone is in your life for a reason,
it is usually to meet
a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly.
S/he has come to assist you through a difficulty,
to provide you with guidance and support,
to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually.
S/he is there to meet a need.
Then without any wrongdoing on your part
or at an inconvenient time,
s/he will say or do something
to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes s/he dies. Sometimes s/he walks away.

and forces you to take a stand.
What we must realize is that the need has been met.
When a person comes into your life for a season,

Thank You Friend....
I never came to you, my friend,

What is a Friendship Worth?
What is a friendship worth?
Is it worth listening to the rumblings
of jealousy born from resentment
of the closeness shared?
Is it worth turning a blind
eye to the glee of that
surround us at the first sign
of dispute and disagreement?
Is it worth ignoring
the speed with which others,
in their frenzied need to denigrate,
hurry to add to our uncertainties?
Is it worth that
benefit of doubt that we
can extend to our enemy
but not to our closest friends?
Is it worth allow the insecurities
that dwell inside to emerge
and tear at the fabric of
love that has been woven in your heart?
Is it worth leaving the memories
of shared dreams and moments behind
on a field of angry words,
thoughts and actions?
Is it worth an unforgiving
heart that refuses to hear
another's cries and will not
allow for human fragilities?
Is it worth the stubborn
pride that keeps us from
admitting we might have been
wrong or might not have understood?
Is it worth hardening
your sweet soul to the
pleas for understanding
from someone who once
shared your thoughts and emotions
on a daily basis?
Is it worth giving up
that part of you that you
once gave freely and with
love to another?
Is it worth forgetting
all the good in favor
of the bad?
Is it worth
the tears of God as He
mourns the anger inside
our hearts?
If friendship is worth so little,
then was it truly friendship?
Friends will sometimes hurt you.
Life is not fair. Life is not
always pretty.
Often without meaning to
we hurt those we love most.
And often those we love
hurt us, again without
desire or thought of doing so.
Understanding
Love
Patience
Love
Friendship

I had great time chatting with Nene glenda & Kabsat today..
If I would give recognition to those people who faithfully,
& consistently keep in touch with me while i am here..

I really thank God for their warm & thoughtful friendship..

PtR BeN...The gREAtEsT iNfLuEnCe....
Mentor, Spiritual Father, Confidant, Encourager, Motivator, Friend..and more..
This is Ptr Ben. He has been my Ptr for almost 20 years now..
& this page seems to be not enough to write all that I'd like to say about him..
He is almost like a father to me.. But at the same time he is a friend..
He is there for me through almost all of life's experiences..
His teachings and spiritual nurturing have helped shaped who I am esp in my spiritual journey with the Lord..
It was through his preaching that I committed myself for full time service..
It was through him that I was reminded of the commitment when I seem to forget it..
It was though his preaching again that I finally decided to resign from my job & obey God's calling in my life..
Ptr Ben has given me many opportunities to grow in the ministry..
At times when I feel so unconfident with myself,
It was he who keeps on showing me that I have something to give to the Lord..
I think he believes in me more than I believe in myself..
At times I resent that he is giving me responsibilities in the church that i think I could not handle..
But maybe because he sees something in me that i refuse to see...
But through his supervision,
I have become a better, more confident person now..( I think so)..
More than that, wherever I am in my spiritual growth right now,
I would always think of that one special person who has invested so many spiritual truths in my life..
Whenever I think of a person who has influenced and touched my life so greatly,
I would think of Ptr ben..
I always thank God for HIm

We move from place to place
And oftentimes when I'm about to call it home

Life is a constant change...
The friends we know we meet along the way
Too soon the times we share form part of yesterday

Why couldn't we keep time from movin' on?

Why must we live the days at such a frightening pace?

Have we outgrown our Peter Pans and wings?
We've simply grown too old for tales of knights and kings

Like when I was so comfortable in the seminary but i have to go here in Korea..
& when i think of my friends graduating in the seminary tomorrow..
When I think that I may no longer see them when I get back there, it gives sadness to my heart..
But this is life..& I have to learn to accept it..
We cannot hold on to things & people so long..
We are constantly moving..following where God leads us..
All we can do is be thankful..
That once in our lives we met them..
We became friends..
& through them our lives are enriched.. HAPPY GRADUATION TO KABSAT, KUYA WILLY, ATE GERI, LISA< & GRACE.. I pray that God will continue to bless you in every way..esp as you serve Him where He leads you..

john kevin..d sweet little boy
 I have warm & fond feelings for babies..
& John is one boy that i really like to see in the seminary.
He is very cute..smiling (at times snob too).
His skin is very white & smooth..
Last summer, we were invited to live in their house for a time
We always play with him.
Almost everyday, he would go down to our room & just have fun with us.
He doesn't speak yet.
But we like it when we ask him to give us a kiss..
He will motion with his mouth to kiss & will make a sound.
That was the kiss for him.
I find his "hobby' inetersting too.
He likes to do the laundry. (I don't)
he never gets tired of putting the clothes in & out of d washing machine..
We just smile everytime he does that..
& He's very smart too.
Sir kevin & Ma'am Myra are our seminary professors.
But they were like a parents to us..I really appreciate how they provided a home for us at a time when we needed it.
.
They were very caring & kind.
I won't forget when Ma'am Myra asked us bout the "special someone".
Almost all of the others were just comfortable to open up, but I was too shy.
I feel awkward to talk about it.
But Ma'am Myra was still able to let me speak.
I cried when I said my goodbyes to them. They prayed for me as I start my journey to Korea.
I miss them very much & I miss playing with John.
